2025 YOUTH DANCE CLINIC

Get ready for an exciting and action-packed Michigan Spirit Squad clinic designed for youth boys and girls ages 7 to 12. Whether you're a beginner or have some experience, this clinic is the perfect place to learn, grow, and have a blast!

What You’ll Learn:

• Dance Technique: Learn and train basic dance technique, including kicks, jumps, turns, and movement quality.
• Dance Routine: Learn a fun, high-energy dance routine for the half-time performance at a Michigan Women’s Basketball game.
• Individuality and Creativity: A unique opportunity for your child to grow their creative thinking skills while expressing themselves in a welcoming athletic environment.

Clinic Highlights:

• Instruction led by the Michigan Dance Team along with the Spirit Squad staff
• Engaging, age-appropriate activities and performance routine opportunities
• Personalized guidance to help each participant grow and shine
• The opportunity for clinic participants to perform at half-time at the Michigan Women's Basketball game against Purdue
  • Game Details:
    • Saturday, February 22nd
    • 12:00 PM Tip-Off
    • Location: Crisler Center
    • Free game admission for participants
      • A ticket link will be provided to participants for friends and family to purchase tickets to attend the game
• Each participant with receive a Michigan Youth Clinic t-shirt to be worn during the half-time performance

What to Bring:

• Comfortable athletic clothing
• Sneakers with good support
• A water bottle
• Lots of energy and enthusiasm!

This is a great opportunity for kids to stay active, make new friends, and learn valuable dance team skills in a supportive environment. Whether your child is interested in joining a dance team or just wants to try something new, this clinic will be a memorable experience for young Wolverines! Spaces are limited, so be sure to register early.

Refund Policy

Registration protection insurance is available through Ryzer during the registration process. If you do not purchase protection insurance or are subject to a non-covered reason, refunds will be given minus a $50.00 non-refundable administration deposit as long as the refund is requested by February 17th, 2025 at 11:59 pm EST. No refunds will be given after this date.
