Join us for Michigan College Prep Cheer’s next Collegiate Skills Clinic! This clinic is for high school athletes  ONLY. This Commuter Camp is for individuals who plan to transition from high school to college cheerleading. This camp focuses on coed and all-girl stunting, tumbling, choreography, and jumps.  All athletes ages 13 - 18 years old are invited to attend.

Michigan College Prep Cheer clinics are conducted in a low-pressure, safe, and fun environment on the University of Michigan campus.  You will benefit greatly from this clinic if you want to try out as a college cheerleader anywhere across the nation, especially at the University of Michigan.

The techniques and skills that we will help you develop will give you a big head start over your competitors.  You will train with former and current University of Michigan Cheerleaders and Coaching Staff as well as other collegiate cheerleaders and coaches. 

Athletes should wear t-shirts, shorts, and cheer shoes.  Please leave any jewelry or valuables at home; we are not responsible for any lost, stolen, or damaged items. Any braces, wraps, or tape needed for safe athletic participation must be brought to the clinic. A First Responder will be present for taping. However, athletic tape is NOT provided.

Spots available:

  • Flyer/top girl - $135/participant - These athletes will fly with coed bases as well as all-girl bases. Participants will also receive a free t-shirt with their registration - 60 spots available 
  • Bases  (male and female) - $115/participant - These athletes WILL NOT FLY. These athletes will focus on all-girl stunts for their stunt practice. Participants will also receive a free t-shirt with their registration - 45 spots available. 

Refund Policy

The camp fee, less a $35.00 non-refundable administrative deposit, will be refunded without question if you cancel before October 20, 2024 [two (2) weeks] before the beginning of camp.  The administration fee and the online processing fee are not refundable for ANY reason.

At any time after October 20, 2024 refunds (less a $100.00 admin fee) will be made for medical reasons only and must be accompanied by a signed medical statement from your physician.  Such documentation must be submitted by email to pstjohn@umich.edu on the day of the cancellation request through the camp website.

Schedule conflicts do not justify refunds or cancellations.

If no request for cancellation is made before the beginning of the first day of the chosen camp, absolutely no refunds will be given for any reason.

Any camper who may be injured at camp but remains at camp will not be eligible for any refund. A camp fee may not be transferred to any other Michigan sports camp. A camp fee may not be transferred to any other camper.

All cancellation requests must be placed on the camp registration website. Refunds will be issued within 10 business days after November 3, 2024.

Open to any and all entrants; limited only by number, age, grade level, and/or gender.

 

THIS CAMP IS OWNED AND OPERATED BY MICHIGAN COLLEGE PREP CAMPS LLC. THE UNIVERSITY OF MICHIGAN IS NOT RESPONSIBLE FOR ANY EXPENSES RELATED TO YOUR PARTICIPATION IN THE CAMP OR COSTS INCURRED IN THE EVENT OF CANCELLATION OF ALL OR ANY PORTION OF THE CAMP.

IN ACCORDANCE WITH NCAA RULES, MICHIGAN SPORTS CAMPS ARE OPEN TO ANY AND ALL THAT WOULD LIKE TO ATTEND, BUT MAY LIMIT ATTENDANCE BASED ON SEVERAL FACTORS, SUCH AS AGE, NUMBER AND GRADE LEVEL. HOWEVER, CAMP ATTENDANCE AT MICHIGAN (INCLUDING ATTENDANCE AT ELITE OR ADVANCED CAMPS) IS NEVER RESTRICTED BY A CAMPER'S SKILL LEVEL OR COMPETITIVE EXPERIENCE.
