2025 ADVANCED SETTING CAMP

This camp is designed to focus on the basic and advanced fundamentals of setting. Setters will focus on mastering eyework, handwork, footwork, and decision-making. Setters  can expect maximum repetition, drills, and competition. Campers selecting this camp should have experience playing this position and/or be eager to strengthen their setting skills.

Coaching staff:

• Head Coach: Erin Virtue, Olympic Medal Winning Assistant Coach: 2020 Olympic Gold, 2024 Silver Medal
• Assistant Coach: Nick Clark
• Assistant Coach: Kassie Kadera
• Current Michigan Volleyball Student-Athletes, alumni, other college coaches and players from around the USA.

Locations:

• Cliff Keen Arena (University of Michigan campus)
• Intramural Building (IM Gym Location)

Daily Schedule:

• 8:15 am - 9:00 am: Camp check-in
• 9:00 am - 11:30 am: Session I
• 11:30 am - 12:30 pm: Lunch (Campers need to PROVIDE THEIR OWN LUNCH)
• 12:30 am - 3:00 pm: Session II
• 3:00 pm - 3:30 pm:  The last 30 minutes of the day will be an opportunity for campers to choose what skill they would like to focus extra attention on with the coaching staff.

What To Bring:

• Volleyball Shoes
• Kneepads
• Shorts/Spandex
• T-shirts - multiple if you would like to change between sessions
• Backpack/Bag for belongings
• Water bottle
• Campers need to bring their own lunch, no lunch or snacks will be provided.

Refund Policy:

• CREDIT CARD FEE CHARGED BY RYZER IS NON-REFUNDABLE
• $75 non-refundable administrative fee for all camps
• All refunds requested at least 1 week prior to the beginning of camp will be processed
• Within 1 week of camp - no refunds will be issued unless there is a Dr.’s note prohibiting participation in camp
• No refunds will be made after the start of camp
