Michigan Hockey Camps

Led by Coach Brandon Naurato

Michigan Hockey has been hosting summer camps since 1984. The camp prides itself on its dedicated and professional staff, organized practices, outstanding facilities and a well supervised daily schedule that promotes skill development in a safe, positive and fun environment!

The focus of Michigan Hockey camps will be for players to learn methods to be the best version of themselves on and off the ice! Coach Naurato believes the best method to improvement is through proper preparation and motivation along a path of failing forward!

He has an extensive background in ice skill-based player development. He was the owner and director of Total Package Hockey in Detroit where he started the first online hockey academy in the United States. He was also a player development consultant for the Detroit Red Wings, where he used modern technical and tactical tools to personalize development plans for hockey athletes. Most recently, he has incorporated this knowledge and background into his position as head coach of Michigan Hockey. His expertise in skill development will be used to create a camp that will challenge athletes at all ages and skill levels.

This year, the morning sessions of camp will focus on skill development through on ice and off ice activities. Each afternoon, campers will be given the opportunity to put these new skills to use in a game like setting. 

The camp will also contain educational seminars on topics such as game day preparation, video analysis, life as a wolverine, nutrition and more!!

The week will close on Thursday with a game to showcase player development.
