Bahna Wrestling Center

This will be the location of the Lil Wolverine, Attach & Score and Leg Riding Camps

  • Opened in January 2009, the 18,000-square-foot Bahna Wrestling Center houses comprehensive training and support facilities for the Michigan Wrestling program and the Cliff Keen Wrestling Club & USA Wrestling Regional Training Center
  • One of only two stand-alone collegiate wrestling training facilities in the country
  • Three 50x50 Resilite mats combines for 7,500 square feet of mat space
  • Michigan's locker room features custom-made maple lockers, wall showers, bathroom facilities and an adjoining nutritional juice bar
  • The team lounge, wrapped in two shades of maple, includes a flat-screen TV equipped with satellite television, a DVD player, Playstation 3, surround-sound speakers as well as leather couches, a dual conference table/ping-pong table and a workstation
  • Bleacher seating is available for spectators, while cardio equipment occupies the east and west walls overlooking the mats

From Detroit Metro Airport and points east: Take I-94 west to State Street (exit 177). Turn right. Travel north approximately 1 1/4 miles through one stoplight. Turn left at the Varsity Tennis Center, which is just past Edwards Brothers Printing on the left and the Howard Cooper car dealership on the right.

From Chicago and points west: Take I-94 east to State Street (exit 177). Turn left. Travel north approximately 1 1/4 miles through two stoplights. Turn left at the Varsity Tennis Center, which is just past Edwards Brothers Printing on the left and the Howard Cooper car dealership on the right.

From Toledo and points south: Take U.S. 23 north to I-94 west. Follow directions from Detroit Metro Airport.

From Flint and points north: Take U.S. 23 south to I-94 west. Follow directions from Detroit Metro Airport.


Indoor Training Building
1150 S. State Street, Ann Arbor, MI

This will be the location of the Technique, Heavyweight, and Advanced Training Camps

  • Newly renovated in December of 2017
  • Serves as a home for indoor practices for a variety of Michigan intercollegiate programs and recreational activities
  • Featuring a state-of-the-art FieldTurf surface, the enclosed practice and playing area provides year-round, full-field training and development opportunities

Directions: Off State Street, Enter the Athletic campus at the north end of Yost Arena.  Drive west through the parking lot, past the baseball stadium on your left to the Indoor Training building. It will be on your left.

South Quad Dorm

Summer Camp Resident overnight accommodations and resident and commuter meals are at the South Quad dormitory.

Building & Room Information

  • Secure building with key-card access
  • Visitors are prohibited in the dormitory areas or on the premises between 10:00pm and 7:00am daily (excluding emergency)
  • Dorm quiet hours are from 10:30pm – 8:00am
  • All Camper rooms are double occupancy, there are no triples.
  • Campers will be placed in rooms based on age and gender.  Males and females are separated by floor/wing
  • Typical room comes with Extra-long twin bed, desk, chair & closet
  • Bedding is NOT provided.
  • Campers need to bring XL sheets, blanket, pillow
  • All rooms have access to shared, on-hall bathrooms with showers.
  • Campers need to bring: Towel, washcloth, soap, toothbrush, toothpaste
  • Wi-Fi is available
  • Laundry facilities on site
  • Vending machines are available

Supervision

  • Building staff and an information desk dedicated to summer camp attendees
  • Supervision provided by Wrestling Camp staff 8am – 8pm
  • Supervision provided by Housing services from 8pm – 8am
  • Evening activities for campers each night, led by housing staff
  • No wake up calls are provided

Dining

  • Resident Camper meals are included in the resident camp cost.
  • Commuter Camper meals are NOT included in the camp cost. Commuter campers may purchase Meal Tickets to eat meals in the dormitory dining hall with the resident campers.  An online link for commuter campers to purchase meals will be provided ahead of camp. Commuter Campers may also bring their own meals and eat at a spot designated at the South Quad dorm. 
  • All campers will be required to go to South Quad dorm at meal time. No Camper will be allowed to remain at the indoor training building during meal periods or between sessions. There will not be supervision in the training building at those times.

HOWEVER, CAMP ATTENDANCE AT MICHIGAN (INCLUDING ATTENDANCE AT ELITE OR ADVANCED CAMPS) IS NEVER RESTRICTED BY A CAMPER'S SKILL LEVEL OR COMPETITIVE EXPERIENCE.
