Michigan Diving Camp

Club Wolverine Diving Camp is a camp head by University of Michigan Diving Coach Mike Hilde. Assisting him will be Club Wolverine Diving Head Age-Group coach Gabby Han and Assistant Coach Kyle Howard. Other coaches also include Camp Councilors from the University of Michigan Diving Squad.

As a camper at the CW Diving Camp, you will learn the importance of basic fundamentals that go into proper form and technique during the dive while somersaulting, twisting, and ripping as well as a precise hurdle and back press. Other lessons will stress the significance of having a stretching routine and a solid strength and conditioning base.

There are many resources at CW Diving Camp we use to help campers get the most out of their experience here. In addition to diving practices, campers will obtain specific lessons on nutrition from a qualified University of Michigan Nutritionist, mental toughness from a University of Michigan Sports Psychologist and finally, the story of Olympian and Olympic Coach Dick Kimball’s road to greatness.

Campers will reside at the University of Michigan’s residence halls and eat meals at the cafeterias under the constant supervision of Camp Councilors. Evenings will consist of a variety of fun games and social events for the campers to enjoy.
